Data Transfer Tool - Manual Data Extraction Guide
If you’re experiencing issues with the Data Transfer Tool and need your data pushed to the portal, please follow these steps:
If you're on DTT v0.59.0 or later
Press the "AppData" button at the bottom of the DTT
Wait for a finder/explorer window to pop open
Select all of the files/folders in that folder (To know you're in the right place there should be a couple of folders called Logs
and Assessments
), zip/compress them, and send them to your Moth+Flame Customer Success Manager
If you're on Mac
Open Finder
Press Go in the Finder's menu bar
Press "Go To Folder"
Type or paste "~/Library/Application Support/promise/mffiles/" in the resulting popup
Click on the resulting blue button to be taken to that location in Finder
Select all of the files/folders in that folder (To know you're in the right place there should be a couple of folders called Logs
and Assessments
), zip/compress them, and send them to your Customer Success Manager.
How to Zip on Mac:
Control-click all of the files you need to zip and then choose Compress from the shortcut menu
If you're on PC:
Open file explorer
Type into the URL bar %appdata%
Open the promise
folder
Open the mffiles
folder
Select all of the files/folders in that folder (To know you're in the right place there should be a couple of folders called Logs
and Assessments
), zip/compress them, and send them to your Customer Success Manager
How to zip on PC:
Select all of the items you want to zip and right click. Press 'Compress to Zip file' from the menu.
