Follow these steps to register your iOS or Android mobile device and complete a learning experience.
Step 1: Download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Step 2: Open the Promise Learning app and accept microphone and camera permissions.

Step 3: Enter your work email address and hit "submit." This will send an email to your inbox. If you're setting up a shared device, proceed to the Shared Device Setup section, further below.
If you've been provided an access code by your Administrator, please enter it here and skip to step 5. If you didn't receive an email, please refer to the FAQ section and follow the login assist steps.
Step 4: Find the email from no-reply@promisevr.com and click on the login link in the email.
Step 5: Return to the app (if needed) and launch your learning content. Click a library and then download and launch an assigned module.
Note: If taking the experience in a group setting, we recommend headphones. This is a voice-activated experience. If you are unable to get past the voice onboarding screen, please see the FAQ, section, below.
Step 1: After downloading and opening the app, click "Admin Shared Device Setup" as shown below.
Step 2: Take note of the 4-digit code that appears. You will use this code to register your device, which only needs to be done once.
Note: This code refreshes after 24 hours or if you leave the screen and return.
Step 3: Find the email sent to you by your Administrator and click on your personalized link.
Step 4: Enter the four digit code on Promisevr.com.
Step 5: Return to the app and your content will load. Click a library and then download and launch an assigned module. If no learner ID is required, you may begin. If you are identifying yourself with your email address, see subsequent steps.
Type your email address in the login field and hit submit. You may then begin and complete the experience.
This learning experience will allow you to navigate conversations with your voice. We recommend that you find a quiet space and get comfortable. The characters portrayed in the experience will respond to you based on the answers you select. Please choose the ideal responses based on the established learning objectives.
I didn't receive an email after typing in my email address. What should I do?
If you submitted your email address and arrived at a "check your email screen" there are a few things you can do:
This will take you to a screen with a 4-digit code. Give this code to your Administrator, who can remotely sign you in.
I'm unable to get past the voice activation screen. What should I do?
First, check that your microphone and camera permissions are on. To do this on an iOS mobile device, go to Settings > Scroll to find the Promise Learning app > select the carrot on the right > turn the microphone and camera toggles on so that they appear green.
To do this on an Android device, go to Settings > Apps > Promise > Permissions > Microphone > Select "Allow only while using the app" (and repeat the last step to activate camera permission).
Second, make sure that you are not using Zoom simultaneously with the Promise Learning app. Some applications like Zoom take microphone control.
